My sister Kelley and her boyfriend, Paul, flew in from Anchorage, Alaska for my family's annual Spring Break trip to the beach. This year we're headed to Pensacola, FL. We've been going to the Seaside, Seagrove, Seacrest Beach area near Destin, FL and we really like it, but thought that we would try something different this year. My sister Katie will be coming from Baton Rouge, LA where she moved last year.
We don't get to see my side of the family as often as we get to see Helen's, so we always look forward to this beach trip as a way for everyone to reconnect. We don't try to go out to any restaurants or plan anything. We just hang out, watch movies, play games, go to the beach and the pool, and EAT! It's a great family vacation.
Kelley and Paul are always glad to break away from Winter's grip in Alaska and enjoy the nice weather. They sent us the picture of them above from earlier this year.
