One of the things we really enjoy is eating at all the different resorts. On Sunday morning we scheduled an early morning character breakfast at the Cape May Cafe at the Beach and Yacht Club Resorts. Like most character meals, it was a huge buffet with lots of food to please everyone. The character meals can be kind of annoying in that it seems like the characters come around to your table too often and just at the wrong time, but it's a great way to get up and close to the characters. There's no way I would ever waste time waiting in line to see them. Luckily our kids are pretty ambivalent about them.

After breakfast we checked out the incredible pool that the Beach and Yacht Club Resorts share. The kids had fun and got all wet. Then we walked across the boardwalk to see the Swan and Dolphin hotels. After that we walked over to Epcot.

After Epcot we took the boat back to the Beach and Yacht Club. As we were exiting the boat, we ran into my friend, Brandon and his wife, who were taking the boat over to Epcot. We went back to our resort and took a long nap. Brandon and his wife got caught up in a huge monsoon like storm.

In the evening we caught the late Fantasmic show at Hollywood Studios. The park was closed by the time the show finished around midnight. The parks were crowded but we were making due, but the long wait for the bus tested us. One of the bad things about staying at the Wilderness Lodge is that you have to take the same buses as the Fort Wilderness Campground guests and there a lot of guests staying at the campground. The first bus filled up fast and we waited for almost 45 minutes and watched lots of other buses come by for the other resorts before our bus finally came. After dropping off the campground guests we didn't get back to the Wilderness Lodge until almost 1:30! The rose colored glasses started to fade for us after that. Boat good - bus bad!
