When the boys were little and going to daycare there was a church on the way that sold pumpkins. Every year the kids would eagerly ask when the pumpkin patch was going to show up. The leaves would start to turn and each day they would be on the lookout and then one day we would drive by and all the pumpkins would be out and it was so magical for them.
We still go to the same church to pick our pumpkins and it's nice that some of the magic is still there for kids (and for us cranky old grownups too).
