The big storm that rolled through last night took care of our last Bradford Pear tree. We used to have 6 Bradford Pear trees in all, but over the years they have all done what Bradford Pear trees do...split and cause a big mess.
I came home last night about 7 o'clock with Derek after his hockey practice to find the tree blocking the driveway. Helen and Adam had only been home about an hour or so and didn't even realize the tree had fallen. Adam was so excited when Derek came in and told him about the tree. They ran outside to check out the destruction.
Helen had to take my car to work this morning since hers was blocked in the garage. The tree guys came out later and cleared the way.
