Christmas Morning

Adam and Derek wait on the top of the stairs for us to give them the OK to come down

First look at what Santa brought

Bow and arrows never fail to satisfy

Go Derek

Adam reads the Christmas story he wrote at school

Adam just loves Dinosaur Eggs oatmeal. It made a good gift since we don't keep it around all the time because we have to make a special trip to Target since they don't carry it at our grocery store.

Derek tries out his new pogo stick

Me and Adam work on assembling his new "bad guy" castle

Derek tries out his new bike while Helen and Adam look on

Adam loves his new Nutcracker

The finished castle

Derek plays his new Lego Rock Band game

Adam takes a nap with his new Nutcracker

Amazingly, Santa was once again able to think of some toys for the boys. I would have thought with all the junk that the boys already have that Santa would not have been able to think of anything new.

Derek's big gift was a new bike. Adam's pretty easy and doesn't usually ask for much. His main gift was a "bad guy" castle to go with the "good guy" castle he already has - along with some new knights. He also loves his new Nutcracker and bow and arrow set, which he plays with all the time. They have also enjoyed the old school pogo sticks and hula hoops that Santa brought.

As usual, Santa got all the credit. The boys didn't seem to be as happy about the underwear, socks, shoes, clothes, etc that we gave them.
